Annual General Meeting 2025

We held our Annual General Meeting for 2025 on 11 September 2025.

This year’s venue was The Studio at The New Park Centre, Chichester. Thanks to them for allowing us to use it.

There was a one-minute silence for Paul Willard, who very sadly died on 21 August 2025. A great friend, former Mayor and member of the Corporation for 40 years. He will be sorely missed.

On a slightly happier note, we elected our new and recurring officers for the forthcoming year, including our Mayor elect, Mark Moranne. He takes over from Simon Palmer at our Annual Dinner - congratulations Mark! We approved our annual Treasurer’s report and held a crucial vote on admitting women. The motion was passed, marking a significant change in the direction of the Corporation for the first time in its 336-year history.
