Holding the record for the oldest dining club in Great Britain we are also a registered charity raising money for local causes.

Established on 4 August 1689 in Chichester, West Sussex, our ancient corporation was originally founded to celebrate the coming of William of Orange to the throne. As a group of like-minded individuals, the corporation gathered regularly for social events, community events & fellowship.

Today, over 336 years later, we still enjoy the same activities. The Corporation is famous locally for its annual dinner, Christmas walk and annual Summer BBQ.

Historically a ‘men-only’ organisation, from 2025 membership is now open to men and women.

Our Patron is His Grace, The Duke of Richmond and Gordon.
